MangaBanana is an AI-powered platform that allows users to generate manga characters and comics using artificial intelligence. The Service includes:
- Character generation using AI
- 2-panel comic creation
- AI-powered story splitting
- Image storage and management
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Impersonate any person or entity
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Content Moderation
All user-generated prompts are automatically checked using OpenAI's Moderation API. Content that violates safety guidelines will be rejected. We reserve the right to:
- Block or remove inappropriate content
- Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate policies
- Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
6. Credits and Usage Limits
The Service provides:
- Limited free credits for new users (2 credits per user)
- Option to use your own OpenAI API key for unlimited generations
- Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
We reserve the right to modify credit limits and policies at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create using the Service, including generated images and comics. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
7.2 Our Content
The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by MangaBanana and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. API Keys
If you choose to provide your own OpenAI API key:
- You are responsible for all charges incurred using your API key
- We store your API key securely but cannot guarantee absolute security
- You may remove your API key at any time
- We are not responsible for any misuse of your API key
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Generated content will meet your expectations
- All features will be available at all times
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANGBANANA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
